Our Story

For those who know Tammie & Greg Miller, they have been in the Mobile & Modular Home industry since they where teenagers.

The Story

Tammie was introduced to the industry by her father Dale Felske where she started out by cleaning and decorating model homes.  For Tammie, it was a dream come true to be able to work with her dad.  Dale introduced her to some amazing people in the industry including the Commodore Corporation.  While introduced as professionals many of these people have become more like extended family.

In 1992, while working Tammie met Greg Miller who is now her husband.  Greg also started in the industry at the age of 18 cutting grass and general maintenance.

In December of 1999 Greg & Tammie was offered the opportunity of a lifetime – to buy a mobile & modular home dealership.  So Greg went to work for that dealership and in July of 2005 Tammie went to work as a sales consultant also.  In September of 2005 both Tammie & Greg took over day to day operations and management of a branch location.  The location was given an overhaul and flourished, eventually producing sales of 3.4 million dollars in a year and becoming Colony Homes #1 single lot location for sales.

While still waiting in the wings for the opportunity to own the dealership they realized that dream wasn’t going to happen.  In March of 2015, Greg & Tammie made a bold move to leave their steady employment and pursue their dream of ownership.  They put a down payment and entered into a sales agreement to purchase the property located at 33 Bigler Road, Bigler, PA 16825.  The property needed a lot of hard work to make it presentable – something they are used to.

Today, Tammie & Greg operate Central PA Home Center LLC – a successful dealership selling modular & mobile homes in central Pennsylvania.
